Dear Porsche Club,

I would like to thank you for the continued support that you give to our collision repair program at Thaddeus Stevens College of technology. The Tekna paint guns that you provided our class with will be immediately put to good on our projects. They will help to make me a better technician and most certainly a more successful one. I would like to thank the Porsche club for purchasing all the sophmore students including myself TEKNA paint guns, and donating a Porsche to the school. This means so much to me because instead of having to buy my first paint gun I now have it to use in the various jobs I will be doing here in the collision course here at Thaddeus Stevens. I'm also so happy to be able to work on a Porsche, I've never fixed one up before but I love working with new cars. Dear Porsche Club of America,

I'd like to say thank you for providing us students with torque wrenches, scan tools, and online text books to help with our career as automotive technicians. Words cannot express how much this means to me. I would also like to thank you for donating a Porsche 914 for us to work on and restore. The experience will be very beneficial and I'm excited to work on it as is the rest of the class.

I'd also like to personally say thank you for providing me with a scholarship this year which was $7,100. A huge financial burden has been lifted with that scholarship and I can use that money for other things such as tools for my career.

I and my classmates highly appreciate all the gifts your club has generously donated to our class. Not only did you supply us with High quality Snap-On torque wrenches, but you also donated a Porsche 914 for us to work on in the shop. It is always nice to have a large variety of vehicles in a practice environment such as ours, I myself have never even worked on a mid or rear engine car before, so it will be a new experience for me. The wrenches will help out significantly since that is one less tool we need to purchase for ourselves, and we can put that money towards textbooks, other necessary tools, or just basic college living expenses.

I myself have never gotten into the whole Porsche scene, since I've always been a Corvette/Camaro/Trans-Am fan, but your generosity has definitely inspired me. When I finish my degree in Automotive Technology, I want to work in garage environments to gain a lot of experience in the automotive field and eventually pursue a career as an instructor as well as obtaining my bachelor's degree.

The Porsche 914 that's in our shop is awesome! In my opinion, one of the coolest cars we could possibly have to work on this year. Ever since I was little, I have always been drawn towards Porsche. I love every model they have ever produced, especially those from the 70s and 80s. Last year, I started doing my research, and ended up buying a 1987 Porsche 944s. Since then, I've had my head under that hood, learning the ins and outs, hoping of one day becoming a Porsche tech. With the experience of working on the 914, it should help me to take a couple steps closer to that dream! Once again, thank you very, very much for your donations.
